FAQ
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you so much for understanding!
To keep things intimate, we’re only able to host the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The deadline is on the 1st of May 2026. We kindly ask that you respond individually so we can record all dietaries and allergies. If you haven't already RSVP'd you can do so by clicking the button below.
You have two ways of getting to the venue;
If you're arriving by car: Grittleton House is a two to two and a half hour drive from most of London. As it’s almost entirely on the M4, please allow time for traffic!
You can park directly in the venue the main driveway. Please avoid parking in front of the house, to allow access for photographers and emergency vehicles. There is additional parking at The Stables for anyone staying there.
If you're arriving by train: The closest station to the venue is Chippenham which is about an hour from London Paddington or two hours from Waterloo. From there Grittleton House is about a 12 minute drive. There are normally taxis waiting at the rank outside the station, however to be safe we’d recommend pre-booking one! You can find a list of local taxis attached below.
Top tip - you can get discount train tickets by booking them in advance on thetrainline.com (http://thetrainline.com)
Getting to Grittleton House from an airport:
• You can get to the venue in under 2.5 hours from any London airport! If you’re planning on travelling on via public transport, we’d recommend flying into Heathrow or London City airport. If you’re planning on hiring a car then we’d recommend flying into Heathrow as this is the closest airport and could shave an hour off your travel time!
• If you’re flying into Bristol airport, Grittleton House is just a 45 minute taxi away. There will be plenty of taxis outside the airport but we’d recommend using Bolt or Uber.
Parking is available at the venue on either the main driveway or at the Stables. If you plan to park on the main driveway, please do so up the sides and avoid parking in front of the house in order to allow access for photographers and emergency vehicles.
There is some cheap but fun (think school-trip style - see the pictures below) accommodation on site in a building on site called The Stables. Most of the rooms are for 4-6 people (all en-suite), and are only a 2 minute stumble from the main house. If you’re interested in this we’ll be sending out a form shortly to organise rooms!
If you want to stay elsewhere there are lots of beautiful options close by. Below is a list of recommended options, but there are also lots of airbnbs in the town.
Yes, we can accommodate all dietary's that we know about before the wedding! In order to give the kitchen time to prepare, please make sure you fill out any allergies that apply to you via the RSVP form. If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to us at least 1 month before the wedding date.
Firstly we’re honoured you’d like to speak at the wedding! We’re going to keep the number of speeches during the wedding breakfast small, but there will be time for you to say a couple of words during the cocktail hour.
For the day we will have our two mighty toastmasters arranging all things speeches and fun. Please get in contact with:
